Belatedly supposed to start tomorrow night, for a curtailed 2 weeks instead of the usual 8. BBC4 might show more ones this time with any luck, since the TOTP repeats have had to tail off.

The crappy Last Night is on BBC1 tomorrow night. I've rather enjoyed what BBC4 has been able to show in this curtailed season.

The usual Summer Night concert was last week I think, which was at least more its usual spot than they managed last year, and the Proms proper starts (all being well) next weekend, so longer than last year but not the full schedule of previous years.

Last Night again tonight, so that's goodbye to Suzy Klein et al for another few months.

First Night was last week; still another 7 weeks to go, though, if you came in late Wink

Tomorrow's Last Night has been postponed for explicable reasons. Other that that, it's been an entertaining season, nice to see extra coverage over the Bank Holiday weekend too.

Last night tomorrow already. Been entertaining, although I note that the Radio 3 presenter types seem to have largely been kept off telly so that Clive Myrie etc can continue their pushes for world domination.

RE: The Proms - Doddle - 19-07-2024 21:34

Clive Myrie fronted the First Night earlier this evening, with Sandi Toksvig and Nicola Benedetti for company.
