KP - Great player but an attention seeker.

Kevin Pieterson has been left out of the England Squad for the third test. While i firmly believe that no one man should be bigger than the team this is a very bad decision. After eating humble pie and committing himself to England last night, that should have been enough for the ECB.

Even as a joke,if as rumoured he has slagged off Strauss & Flower via text to SA players, you can't have that going on in the middle of a vital Test Series.Dropping him is a slap on the wrist. Will KP spit his dummy out & retire again ? Lets see if he can keep his mouth shut from now on.I doubt it.

RE: England v South Africa 2012 - William H Bonney - 16-08-2012 11:21

South Africa have won the toss and will bat first. Strauss plays his 100th test match and Swann returns for England with Bresnan left out, meaning that Finn will play on his home ground. No Pietersen of course and Bairstow comes in for him. South Africa are unchanged.

RE: England v South Africa 2012 - Boomerangutangangbang - 16-08-2012 11:36

If Finn is good enough to keep his place ahead of Bresnan & Onions,& the fastest bowler we have then why wont they trust him with the new ball ? In a match that we need to win England are more bothered about saving runs than taking wickets.
