Most of the women who make it onto the channels are pretty strong-minded, and not afraid to speak their mind, they often bad mouth the likes of poor photographers on their twitter or facebook or industry forums, to warn other girls, so I am sure if this was common we would know about it by know.
That's not to say it doesn't happen to some extent, but probably not common, and maybe not quite so blatant as 'shag me for a job', more a case of someone using their position and status to sweet talk someone into bed, more to do with exploiting the girls gullibility than outright blackmail, not much different to someone telling porkies in the local nightclub to try to pull Smile

EDIT : Of course, if you wanted to take the casting couch to the extreme without it coming across as seedy, you could setup a channel, entice women in with the offer of free boob jobs and the like, and contract them to make porn movies which you yourself would star in, just so you could get your end away with your choice of the girls in the industry. But no-one would be so stupid and egotistical as to do such a thing as that would they laugh

the 'casting couch' is not exclusive to the adult entertainment business. many people over the years have used sex to get a promotion or a job in all types of jobs
