Maybe. Maybe not. Running fast can't be just about long strides, otherwise every sprinter would be a lanky Usain Bolt rather than a stocky Yohan Blake. Besides longer blades mean a slower start, so if Pistorius had longer blades he would have lost time initially and so there's no certainty that his overall race time would have been faster.

johnny peacock won the 100m t43/44 in 10.90. greg rutherford and peacock's coaches reckon he can do 10.60.

david weir was brilliant last night. hannah cockcroft absolutly destoried the field in her 200m final and smashing the paralympic record as well. sarah storey equaled gray-tompson and dave robert 11 golds.

At around 3pm our Wheelchair Rugby (Murderball) team are in action, it's on 4 and 451. I've watched a few games/matches, it's great.
