Monaco's average attendance last season was 5,841 (playing in Ligue 2).

Which is only the 13th highest in the division, even when they reached their highest point in 2004 they didn't fill up their stadium although its to be expected when Monaco's population is only around 35,000. I'd personally put a fiver on the Monaco owner in the future wanting to move to a different location to build a stadium where theres a bigger population.

I have mixed feelings about all this money coming into French football. On the plus side France now has PSG and potentially Monaco that can compete with the best sides in Europe, which will put French football on the map. On the downside, I fear in the future French football won't be as competitive again with a duopoly (although duopoly is better than monopoly) forming and we will never see again close title races like in 2002/03 and its going to be tough on the rest of the league, who will have to scrap with each other for a final Champions League spot.

Is it a waste of Falcao's talents? Well I think he could of done better than Monaco, but who knows maybe its more Atletico Madrid that want the transfer to go through more than Falcao as 60 million will be enough to find a replacement and help clear their massive debts.

Also Monaco will never be the major force they want to be with Ranieri in charge.

It was said on SSN this afternoon that City was the only team that put a bid in for Navas and it was MORE than they, Seviile. were willing to accept.??????

The bookies are saying it's odds on - 8/11 - for Dzeko to move from Man City to Chelsea.

It's certainly possible but nobody really knows. Its easy for Seville to say that afterwards but they were asking for £30m last week! I think with other clubs showing interest and as the summer goes on sometimes you're favourite just getting the deal done and signed off early. We missed all our targets last year negotiating fees while everybody else was just doing it! So... lesson learnt i guess.

Besides, the deal we did wasn't particularly bad at all, it just maybe could of been better by the sounds of it. Which is fair enough. Every club has done that at some point.

Navas is a good signing but for 25mill that's a little too much especially for a player that is 27, 15 mill is more right

They were talking about the way the deal is structured. Man City are paying LESS than Seville were asking but have offered additional payments (addons), presumably based on appearances. So although Seville are currently getting less than they wanted for the player, if everything works out and all the addons become payable they will actually end up wth MORE than they were asking in the first place.

Nani to leave Man Utd for Monaco. Alcaraz to leave Wigan for Crystal Palace.

Man City to sell Tevez to Juventus - the bookies are offering as little as 1/3 on that happening.
