Probably a very good time for this to be on. It's obviously going to ride on the successes of the recent Iron Man and Avengers films. That's the thing with comic book franchises - they're always going to have loads of fans and I'm sure they'll be happy with this. It may not be quite the angle that die hard Marvel fans were expecting but given time I think it could do well. Sometimes it's good to reboot a franchise - keeps things fresh and gives both veteran fans and new fans the chance to appreciate the franchise. Marvel Comics have been around since 1939 and shows no sign in letting up in its popularity yet. Hopefully will continue to entertain for generations to come.

Episode 2 is good, and Nick Fury appears at the end Smile

I might be on my own but I'm disappointed in this so far. It all seems a bit rushed, while the editing seems quite disjointed. Only two episodes in but up to now the storylines have been totally underwhelming. While I wasn't expecting the super heroes to make an appearance I did hope the series might have the feel of the movies. It doesn't.

I never expected it to have the feel of the marvel movies and have liked the storylines in the two episodes so far. setting things up for later episodes

I enjoyed tonight's ep more than the pilot actually. Threads are starting to appear to continue through the season/series, like Coulson's resurrection, May's back story and if Skye will betray them (naaaaah!).

Hope to see it going from strength to strength Smile

Side note: S1 Ep4 is directed by Roxann Dawson, Lt Torres from ST:Voyager.

I didn't mean that it would have a big movie feel but rather a feeling of being in the actual Marvel universe. It just seems to have no real connection to that at the moment for me. It could develop into something I agree as it is early days but at the moment I just feel something is missing.

some shows take a few good eps to get a team of people to settle and gel. so far so good. the samuel l jackson appearance at the end was a nice touch. like the fact they are not concentrating on coulson's resurrection which could be explored in later eps.

Another great episode this week with some rather good special effects for a tv show. The highlight though was Skye, especially after she jumped into the swimming pool Big Grin
