The bookmakers don't agree with this assessment. They have all got Poland and Ireland very close together.

Fuck you UEFA - Bunch of corrupt bastards annoyedannoyedannoyedannoyedannoyed

The teams should all be in one pot and drawn out in batches of however many groups there are.If you are always on pots 3, 4 ETC you are never going up the rankings. The English media will make out England have it tough when they should be getting cricket scores. They will say there is no such thing as an easy game..mmmmm lets see Germany away you are correct thats a hard game. San Marino at home, phew thank god we didnt get that toughie..

i've changed my mind i predict scotland to cause a major upset by beating san marino in the semi final, and the rep of ireland to also cause a major upset by beating Gibraltar in the semi final, so the euro 2016 final will be between scotland and the rep of ireland with scotland to win 2-1 and win euro 2016, it will be the biggest sporting achievement of all time and it will be so earth shattering the world will grind to a halt, except for the babeshows they will carry on as normal with all the babes wearing the saltire flag to cover up their modesty

Evidently not, judging by the predictions appearing in this thread. Wink

Given the situation in Ukraine would it be safe to assume Ukraine will likely have to play home games elsewhere to ensure opposing fans & players' safety?

No, UEFA have cleared Ukraine to play at home in the Euro 2016 qualifiers, and have also cleared Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and Chornomorets Odesa to play at home in the Champions League and Europa League respectively.

A decision will be made later on Shakhtar Donetsk, who enter the Champions League at the group stage, and seem likely to have their home matches moved elsewhere as Donetsk is currently in the hands of rebel forces.

Why do you say that?

That's why.
