I love Red Dwarf but I didn't hold out much hope for BtE but Part 1 set it up niceley.. part 2 however wasn't even Red Dwarf... Back to Earth part 3 totally redeems the atrocious Part 2 and makes the whole story pretty fucking great

Give me a new series now!

i thought it was good, and i definately think that if you watch it back to back and edited together, it would be wicked. i just think it being split the way it was wasn't wise. it wasn't really written to be split into 3 i think.

I slated the first two parts, but I have have to say that Part Three totally redeemed Back to Earth in my eyes. I also think it would work better back-to-back, so I'll definitely be tuning in tomorrow to test that theory out.

I didn't think I'd be saying this last night, but this Red Dwarf fan DEMANDS a new series!

You can tell Doug Naylor is the Sci-Fi guy and Rob Grant the comedy guy! It should have been shown as a film on one night to fully appreciate the plot and the journey the characters take.I liked it as a whole and it did remind me in parts of the Last Human novel.Sometimes though you just want the four of them on a dodgy BBC set with crappy props cracking one liners and acting like clowns making you laugh your ass off! Smile

Rob Grant wasn't involved with the project as far as I'm aware, he and Dog don't work together anymore.

I didn't like the whole blade runner thing, i love that film and felt this was just a big let down they didn't parody it just plain ripped it off in some scenes. The whole film just felt lazy to me.
