Oh Thanks Kal-El. I always wondered why it was so crap, she really is the only reason to watch that film. Let hope Supergirl the series has a better future

Production started today on the pilot for Supergirl, also Actor Jeremy Jordan has been cast as Winslow Schott aka Toyman who is in the comics a Superman's villain.

Well already people on IGN making comments bad mouthing it and show hasn't even aired clearly most of Pro Marvel which is dumb if your a fan of all comics DC or Marvel, so even saying she doesn't look like the comic version of her which is dumb because each comic artist draws her differently and same with any other character and artist.
When Grant Gustin got the role of Barry Allen/The Flash he was being blasted for being too skinny compared to the comic version of him and not being blonde like his comic counterpart now The Flash is one of top rated shows in the states and people were moaning that he wasn't gonna play The Flash on the big screen.
Am sick of some of these Marvel fanboys blasting it just because its DC Comics there's plenty of room for both even tho i grow up more DC i love Marvel too i loved the Spiderman comics, cartoons along with the Iron Man Comics and cartoons, Hulk, X-Men, Silver Surfer, FF4, Captain America, Thor, The Avengers i could name many more and along with the films and futures which will be coming out.
I just wish people would enjoy what were getting because i know i am.

It was designed by Colleen Atwood the same person that did the Arrow and The Flash costume, Supergirl's costume was designed on purpose to look like The Man of Steel suit

Not sure about the flash costume, seems a little crimson to me (or Black and Gold!) but then it is a darker tone to the show similar to Arrow.

With The Flash costume it depends on how you look on it, in the comics the Barry Allen costume was a lot redder a scarlet colour later when Wally West changed from Kid Flash to The Flash he wore the same costume but then a few years later changed the design and colour of it so it had a darker red colour to it.
You gotta also bare in mind the costume in the show is supposed to be a prototype and over the coming seaons is gonna change, i read the first change is gonna happen before the end of the first season, also at the end of the pilot you'll notice that when Harrison Wells is looking at the newspaper with The Flash being missing his costume is different its a scarlet colour and the Flash symbol on his chest has a white background with the lighting bolt going through like in the comics but as it is now it has a black/red background
