But there is still a problem, Eoin Morgan is badly out of form and there are lots of in form England batsman who could do the job. Big Kev is scoring runs again.
The only way i think he has any chance of a return would be to score a crazy amount of runs in the Big Bash. Then someone gets injured in the world cup squad and public opinion forces them to pick him.
But for this he must get a couple of t20 hundreds and blitz everyone. I hope it happens and i hope the Aussie media constantly ask the english camp about him. Especially if we lose games in the tri series.

It's been confirmed by the ECB that KP won't be returning to play for England again. No real surprise there.
