Just reading up on St George…

He was born in Turkey to Greek parents, before serving in the Roman army across the Middle East and Eastern Europe, and inspiring legends about dragons in Georgia and Armenia.

Not sure how he became patron saint of England. But he’s considered a ‘megamartyr’ for enduring extreme torture right up to his decapitation. Perfect symbol for the football team!

Happy St George’s Day!

^ and today he would be destined for a flight to Rwanda as his dragon slaying skills are not required as they would deprive a natural born brit of a job

I see those who call themselves true patriots were fighting the police in London today and happily spent their afternoon climbing on Nelsons column drinking lager and singing anti-german songs. Not seen Sunak, Braverman or Lee Anderson condemning them yet
