Yes, pixxxels was created for adult image hosting, postimage is now just for non adult content (there was once an adult option).
It may be a case that somebody was misusing their site and it had to be taken down and purged of whatever. It wouldn't be the first time a site had issues due to some daft twat uploading illegal content. I generally post a second image link underneath when using it, but still, it would be good if the site came back online.

Imgz.pw, Imgcredit.xyz, Imagetong.ga and Moreimage.pw are back up. They appear to be operated by the same company.

Domain was locked by Registry.
Please use new domain pixxxels.cc and update codes embedded in your
websites.

EDIT: Tried one of my caps, and it worked
, so they do still seem to be available/'present & correct'.
