Make the BBC pay to view via subscription and they can pay Ginger Bollocks and Jug Lugs whatever they want. Normal working people should not be forced by law to pay for those arseholes whether they actually watch the BBC or not.

bbc will soon have their production company bbc studios which will have most of those employees on bbc studios books therefore if this happens again bbc studios don't have to do it.

ITV pay shits load of money to cowell, the two twats ant and dec, morgan for doing shit tv.

The reason why chris evans was paid 2.2m was that he did top gear in 2016 therefore his 2917/18 salary should drop in comparison has he is no longer doing top gear, huw Edwards covers the news, general election or big voting nights like the eu ref, the voting system ref, state occasions like remembrance sunday, Olympic/commonwealth opening and closing ceremonies etc hence the £500k.

louise Minchin on bbc breakfast have dan walker a dirty look when they talked about salaries but they all get paid the same for bbc breakfast however dan walker gets more has he does football focus, the occasional match of the day and the motd live for the fa cup, is part of the Olympic coverage.

alex jones only gets £500k for the one show has that is the only show she does for the bbc where as matt baker gets more for doing the one show and country file.

I remember an article a few years back revealing that Walkers had reduced the amount of crisps in their multipacks by 5g saving the company approx £750,000 a year, exactly the same amount that Lineker was being paidBig Grin

...

As has been pointed out already, TG is made by a production company, so the wages of the presenters are not part of this total.

The licence fee pays for more than the TV you watch - National radio, regional radio and news & the World Service. Frankly I'm happy to pay that for all that I get. The alternative would be another ITV, look at the difference in breakfast TV, BBC professional news output, weather and local news with travel, ITV Celebrity Soap opera obsessed with crappy quizzes.

Not content with that he had ambitions to be an MP too!! He'd be claiming Walkers crisps on his expenses every week I bet if he was an MP

It also pays for the infastructure for things like the transmitters the other channels use
