Well done the Nation. Finally saw sense and put The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughn-Williams back at No.1 in the Classic FM Hall of Fame vote, seeing off that upstart Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture to fifth. Back on top for a ninth time how anyone can not love this piece which is quintessentially English and evokes the lazy days of Summer is anyone's guess.

Brian Cox had a prog on BBC2 last weekend looking at Holst's Planets from an astronomical rather than astrological perspective (Mars is in fact quite nice, whereas Venus isn't at all). We had Mars earlier in the thread, so let's have the 2nd best bit of the Suite:
