RE: The Witcher - skully - 11-01-2022 17:31 The timelines/time jumps can be confusing until you catch on what's happening when, but once you twig, it's not too bad. This claims to be spoiler free, so I reckon you have a read of this first Rammy - https://www.firstpost.com/entertainment/the-witcher-season-1-primer-a-spoiler-free-look-at-the-world-of-netflixs-high-fantasy-series-starring-henry-cavill-7807601.html Hopefully it'll help. RE: The Witcher - *Kal-El* - 12-01-2022 02:10 Glad I decided not to eat with the last two eps ![]() RE: The Witcher - *Kal-El* - 04-04-2022 19:54 First look at the behind the scenes production of season 3 and the synopsis: As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it,” says the official synopsis for the third season. “Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed in a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line — or risk losing each other forever.” RE: The Witcher - *Kal-El* - 29-10-2022 19:22 Henry Cavill is leaving after season 3 and will be replaced by actor Liam Hemsworth and the show renewed for season 4. RE: The Witcher - KerrAvon - 29-10-2022 20:57 It was a classic good news and bad news announcement from Netflix lol RE: The Witcher - lovebabes56 - 30-10-2022 07:21 Is this based on the PC game of the same name? RE: The Witcher - skully - 30-10-2022 11:19 I don't blame him for leaving tbh, by all accounts the writers don't like the source material and kept changing things too much. I remember seeing that Cavill had to keep fighting them to stick to source and for more dialogue truer to the character. The fact he said he would do the full seven season run due to loving the books and games, means it has to be more than just other roles, he took a massive pay cut to be involved. Not good news at all, lose lose in fact. I definitely won't be watching season four, Liam Hemsworth is not a good actor at all, they've basically killed this off due to writers thinking they know better, fucking GoT all over again, show writers not being true to what fans actually want to see. Oh well, I hope it gets cancelled. RE: The Witcher - *Kal-El* - 31-10-2022 02:34 ^^^ it’s more to do with the Superman stuff, not just about being in his own movies but appearing in other DC movies too it’s gonna be a handful. RE: The Witcher - *Kal-El* - 25-04-2023 14:10 Season 3 Official Teaser https://youtu.be/EUlC8ue8NFI RE: The Witcher - gazcraw77 - 25-04-2023 17:44 Looking forward to this final season ![]() Don’t know how it’s going to go without Cavill playing Geralt I know leads actors have changed in other series, but Cavill is Geralt for me anyway |
