Since the BBC decision over Naga Munchetty's comments was overturned, Munchetty has stayed silent. She was perfectly within her rights to say what she felt, as she was probably expressing her comments like she had experienced the same thing.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/corbyn-allies-fear-power-grab-as-labour-begins-major-shake-up/ar-AAIKKS1?ocid=spartanntp

I have felt for some time now that John McDonnell has been frustrated by Corbyn & his dogmatic attitude towards his stance on some of the issues of the day. The two biggest issues that have faced Labour since Corbyn's election as leader have been anti-Semitism & Brexit. On both those issues Corbyn has had to have been dragged to a position where he does not want to be. Pretty much everyone in the party was calling for the adoption of the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism before he eventually supported it. On Brexit, every move he has made has come after most of those around him has adopted the move first. On both issues when I say those around him I mean MPs, members of the cabinet etc, his own team in his office Milne, Murray, McCluskey, Formby etc reinforce his delusions. Now we are seeing the "big beasts" of socialsim in the cabinet: McDonnell, Thornberry, Long Bailey talking about the second referendum being before a general election.

Corbyn is not a leader. A leader doesn't necessarily need to be the first one to a position, you don't want the person you are following to jump at the first sign of change but he/she most definitely should not be the last person to change on every issue. McDonnell understands that you have to pick your battles, that you have to compromise on some things in order to make practical progress to achieve the end result, Corbyn is an ideological purist. Were it not for the fact that so much of Labour's hard left movement was based on the cult of "Oh Jeremy Corbyn" I think he would of got rid of him by now.

McDonnell said the other day that if Labour do not win the next election he and Corbyn should resign from their positions. I think becoming PM is the only thing that can save Corbyn and if that does not happen then I predict that by this time next year either by staging a coup or putting pressure on him through his own resignation, McDonnell will have removed him.

So in what way - I am only interested in opinions - not passing judgment, should the BBC seek to ensure their objectivity rules are not breached - or indeed what definition they use in this respect?? I don't want subjective bias one way or the other on any subject!!

Spain yesterday exhumed Franco's from the mausoleum of the Valley Of the Fallen for it to be reinterred in a family vault 35 miles away. The family launched a legal challenge, but six judges on Tuesday rejected the challenge.

The so called IS 'Beatles' could face trial in UK :-

Personally I'd rather drop them in the deepest ocean infested with sharks in a dinghy firmly anchored in place and leave them there and hope the sharks have their way with them, then hope there is a nice spit roast in hell for them.
