As much as I applaud LadBaby again for getting the Christmas No.1 with a cover of Joan Jett's rock-chick ballad 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' (I Love Sausage Rolls) for a very laudable cause and charity, I can't help think it's about bloody time we had an actual Christmas No.1 that actually mentions Christmas!

But the Sausage Rolls records are a step up from having the X factor winners at No1.

Possibly, but that dreadful version of Hallelujah by Leona Lewis shouldn't have been released at such a time of year. X-Factor winners have a one-off win and then disappear after a year. At least this song does something for a worthwhile charity...mind you look back through history we've had to cope with the Tellytubbies, Mr Blobby and Bob the Builder so the novelty record is bound to do well and with social media now ANYTHING can make it-look at Rage Against the Machine-the most unChristmassy tune ever and that was down to people voting to stop Simon Cowell!

Best - Stiff little Fingers - White Christmas
I like the tempo change on this version of Bing Crosby's classic.

Not actually released at Christmas but sounds like it should have been....

Waitresses song was called Christmas Wrapping. Wordy Rappinghood was by the Tom Tom Club & not an Xmas song, but an excellent song though.
