I must mend the gate.
I'm expecting a parcel,
I hope it's not late.
I must get a wash on.
There's the ironing too.
The gas bill needs paying.
There's so much to do.
I must send that email.
I can't really moan,
This is the life,
When you're working from home.
I'm due a long lie in
I must feed the cat.
There's the dishes to do,
I'll get round to that.
I'll de-frost the freezer
If I've got time,
But I'm watching the cricket.
Sky Sports is just fine!
I'll look at that spreadsheet,
Use my mobile phone,
So everyone knows
That I'm working from home.

Oh, my room, a sight to behold,
Where chaos reigns, and clothes unfold.
A floor that's hidden beneath the clutter,
A desk that's buried, no room to utter.
The piles of papers, they tower high,
A leaning tower, reaching for the sky.
The bed, a mountain of twisted sheets,
Where lost socks and old receipts meet.
But in this mess, I find my way,
A organized chaos, I dare say.
For in this room, I am the king,
Of all the treasures, I can sing.

half asleep not yet yawning
so still in bed awake since five
I wonder how I'm still alive?
Bur in bed is where I do my best thinking
but I'm happy with my lot
But I know if I have some problems
I can always flush them
down the bog!

I just never do
If I do get get down
I just come on to here
For at least I know
