She's a nasty piece of work and her desperate attempts to sound posh while still dropping letters from the end of words are comical. Well that's another point. Her age. I've got nothing against someone in their 40's say in a top job but I'd have expected that the most senior jobs in a company or institution might go logically to someone older still. To have grown into the job of Home Secretary I would have expected the successful candidate to have been an understudy for 30-40 years maybe. The other point with all these ministers is that the boss announces a re-shuffle for reasons unknown and the merry-go-round starts. Production to personnel, logistics to security, procurement to customer service. And us, the poor old customer expect them to do this week's job as well as last week's.. I am more worried what is going inside that head of his.... I am beginning to think that the pressure and weight of being PM is getting to him and he is making decisions without thinking them through properly But at the end of day at some point he will have to fall on his sword.. RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Chrisst - 22-11-2020 09:15 Ahh so that's the truth of it. I've been on the receiving end of that. My workforce told my manager that 'I didn't know how to speak to people' when I introduced my manager's changes. No wonder she got acused of bullying and no wonder that Boris asked for the report to be toned down. These are some of the much needed changes that Dominic Cummings wanted to see and they don't like it. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/priti-patel-shakes-up-antiquated-work-practices-at-home-office/ar-BB1beVG4?ocid=BHEA000&li=BBoPWjQ RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - SecretAgent - 22-11-2020 09:57 ^ Very one-sided. Perhaps you are in support of her shouting “You are fucking useless” at staff as has been reported this weekend. Maybe that articles in her support in The Telegraph (the most Tory of newspapers) should be balanced by wider reading? The Sunday Times are reporting she will be moved in a reshuffle in January because of her incompetence RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Skyline - 27-11-2020 18:47 RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Skyline - 30-11-2020 15:47 RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Cheesy Grin - 05-12-2020 21:43 RE: The Dubious World of Boris Johnson - Charlemagne - 11-12-2020 00:00 Boris has just said that one of the reasons that he wants to leave is that he doesn't want to have the same haircut as Ursula von der Leyen. He then went on to mention about not wanting to buy the same handbag as her.. Strange man.... it's all that public school mentality.
