Aside from loose cannons like Atkinson, there's a distinct lack of finger pointing between the parties because, as one reporter put it, it'd be like a circular firing squad.

Do you mean 30p Lee Anderson?.

Yes, you're right. Presumably that's who SecretAgent meant.

I wonder how secure the process for compensation actually is, to ensure it is paid to those who deserve it and not to anyone thinking of making a cash grab illegally.

I suspect the Met Will see investigator Bradshaw as a very viable person to speak to first.

It is claimed that the only 2 to ever have met the campaigners for justice for the sub-postmasters are Ed Davey and Kevin Hollinrake. Note the right wing press and idiots like Lee (30p) Atkinson are very keen to put the blame on Ed Davey. It's purely political. Lib Dems are a threat in many Tory constituencies at the coming General Election. Davey himself says that he was actually advised by Civil Servants not to meet Alan Bates.

I'm wondering if Jo Swinson will be challenged like Ed Davey might be.

Watching the odious Ed Davey failing to apologize despite being given plenty of opportunities reminded me of Michael Howard with Paxman thirty years ago. Nothing has changed.

There was an even bigger case many many years about a woman who lived in a forest in a house made of gingerbread. The woman lured children into the house with the intention of killing them and then eating them! Who investigated that? No police were involved, no solicitors, nothing went to court, no one was prosecuted, no one went to prison. It's an evil scandal. This story was made into a cartoon and put on TV, made into books, read in schools, read by parents to children and potentially traumatizing them for life, it's a scandal! Nothing at all was done about it.

Nah no political capital in going after someone who is out of politics where as the Lib Dems are likely to pick up seats in the blue wall of the south east where voters who wont labour more likely to vote Lib Dem or Green

After reading what happened it's obvious that problems with the Horizon system were known to the management and also to their investigating officers.

And what have the Post Office been doing over the past few months, they tried to get the scripts altered for the drama.
