I think the conditions may be playing a part. It's unusual for the temperatures to be so high in the first week and I think it's affecting the bounce of the ball off a really dry surface.

I think Emma could at least reach the Quarter Finals if she can continue to concentrate on her game as she is. Reaching Semis would be a bonus

Quicker or slower? If they get hot temperatures again next week then I wondering if watering would have to be introduced

Unlucky for Emma but when your facing the world number 1 its always a tough ask and she gave a good game, hopefully she can carry this into the hardcourt season

I just worry that the US Open was a bit of a freak and her Wimbledon record will be like Tim Henman. Time will tell though I suppose.

Hell of a match for Norrie, could have been 2 hrs shorter had he not missed a match point, hopefully that extra exertion doesn't hurt cost him too much in the Qtrs as his next opponent is likely Alcaraz
