For me that is a bit unfair but I guess this is another of Barry Hearn's grand ideas for snooker RE: Snooker - Snooks - 18-04-2015 04:47 A very open tournament this year. Any one of around 8 or 9 players could win imo. Should be fascinating viewing. I have my idea on who will make the final but will not post it just in case I'm wrong ![]() RE: Snooker - mikedafc - 18-04-2015 23:05 Selby after looking comfortable against Kurt Maflin needs to win final frame decider to win his 1st round at WC RE: Snooker - Snooks - 18-04-2015 23:25 World number one and defending World Champion Mark Selby has tonight scraped past Kurt Maflin in a nailbiting late night thriller at The Crucible Theatre in Sheffield. Selby saw leads of 7-3 and 8-4 disappear as Maflin surged into a 9-8 lead. A very nervy 18th frame went the way of Selby who steeled himself one final time to clinch the final frame and battle his way into the second round. Selby is aiming to the be the first man to successfully defend a maiden World Title and has kept his hopes alive..........just.
