British actress Miriam Margoyles provided 'his' voice among some others and Burt Kwouk(who was Cato the man servant always trying to karate his boss Inspector Clouseau in the Pink Panther films) also provided a voice. Derek Meddings who started out on Thunderbirds creating Thunderbird 2 and other vehicles as well as designing the many special effects used later worked on James Bond(For Your Eyes Only - the helicopter out of control, Moonraker - the Space Shuttle launches-) and the original BATMAN film (1989) right up to Goldeneye, another James Bond film but that would prove to be his last as died soon after that. Instead of getting actors who could surf, Bigelow cast surfers who could act to be in the gang of "Ex-Presidents". Bojesse Christopher (who plays Grommet) and John Philbin (who plays Nathaniel) were pro surfers who acted on the side. Swayze Missed Out On The Shooting The Foot Chase! Swayze is not the one wearing the Reagan mask during the foot chase sequence. Instead, his stunt double, Scott Wilder, performed the scene because Swayze was in Europe doing press for Ghost. |
