RE: Last Match Watched - ToonLink64 - 16-04-2018 19:31 Same here. I still think he's gonna land on his head every time I see clips of it! RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 16-04-2018 19:38 Funnily enough I can't even recall any other match on that particular card. RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 20-04-2018 15:07 A really brutal, hard and high impact effort from the two legends. 4/5 RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 29-04-2018 16:41 The Undertaker vs Jinsie Shinsaki(Hakushi)Michinoku Pro Wrestling(10/10/97) Great match that followed on from Shinsaki's pervious bout with Keji Muto where he was supposedly killed, hence why he came out in a coffin.1997 was a vintage year for The Undertaker and this easily matches his best efforts in the WWF that year(with the exception of the Hell in a Cell match against HBK). 4/5 RE: Last Match Watched - ToonLink64 - 30-04-2018 18:45 Nice find there. That's a rare gem! RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 01-05-2018 13:39 AWA Heavyweight Championship Match-Korakuen Hall(AJPW 02/01/88) Curt Hennig ( c ) vs Tiger Mask II(Mitsuhura Misawa) A tecnically solid bout from the two sadly deceased legends that features plenty of nicely executed holds and reversals, just a shame about the cop out finish. 3/5 RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 04-05-2018 13:38 Another one from Japan Fujinami could carry anyone to a great match but this is fine example of just how superior Hogan's work ethic was when he was in Japan. 3.5/5 RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 05-05-2018 18:11 "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert vs The Great Muta(Originally broadcasted on NWA Power Hour 08/12/89) A pretty explosive effort from two super workers.Tarnished by a dodgy finish, which happened all to often on TV in this time period. 3.5/5 RE: Last Match Watched - rpj316 - 08-05-2018 01:34 Continuing with the classics from Japan theme. Really well put together bout for the Junior Heavyweight title in NJPW,although Tiger Mask doesn't give a young Bret Hart that many spots, the future Hitman still looks good out there and holds is own in terms of technical ability.A nice sequence of moves create a strong finish. 4/5 |
