Do you think Studio 66 kept a backup recording of their shows?

RE: S66 Studio Closure - lovebabes56 - 10-01-2024 07:08

Highly unlikely

RE: S66 Studio Closure - Charlemagne - 10-01-2024 07:48

^ I believe that Babestation may have aquired Studio66's video library.

Did think there was something going on with bs & s66 as on the BS you tube channel Layla Rose video profile, s66 is mentioned in the description & I was like why are bs mentioning s66?

In some ways, that will improve BS output no end?? Is the library just in-house? how is it accessed?? website only??

I hope they have all Dionne Daniels performances archived.

The content from the website or the Broadcast TV Recordings? I'd be amazed if they had an extensive archive of TV footage, other than what OFCOM might have required for compliance purposes. The storage required and cost involved would be eye-watering.eek

looking through information on another thread there appeared to be 2 entries on Companies House for James Mccann..

Here (Vuecom, 914 tv ltd) and
Here (Vuepay, 965 tv ltd, Primetime media group)

some parts of interest were from the Primetime media group, Filing History, 'Liquidators statement of receipts and payments' :
"Tangible Assets
The tangible assets of the Company comprised of video and audio equipment, IT equipment, photography equipment and office furniture, worth an estimated £12,290. However, the costs of uplifting and selling the items would have outweighed any likely sale value and, therefore, they were abandoned on site."

likely referring to studio equipment

and in the Vuepay, Filing History, 'Return of final meeting':
"Intellectual Property
The intellectual property listed on the statement of affairs had a book value of £265,826. The Joint
Liquidators, via their appointed agents, Hilco Appraisal Limited ('Hilco') received an offer of £100
from one of the directors, however it would not have been economically viable to sell the
intellectual property for this amount due to the costs required to effect the sale. A counter offer of
£5,000 was presented to the director, however no response was received at the date of review
despite numerous chasers. It is therefore unlikely there will be any realisation of the intellectual
property. Hilco were unable to find interest from any other parties, as such, no realisations were
made."

possibly referring to copyrighted media, although i couldn't find an explanation of what the intellectual property was

although any sale might not show up in filings yet
