It's the way things should be, those in charge need to be held accountable by their party, especially when it comes to harmful policy.
I think as much as it makes him weaker as a leader and shows how useless Reeves and Kendall are, it's better for Labour in the long run.

It's a ludicrous compromise, anyone currently on benefits is OK, any new claimants will get screwed.
Any of those mp's who stood against the initial policy, and have now accepted this fudge, need to give their heads a serious wobble.
Hopefully, a weekend in their constituencies getting berated by the people who will be affected by this will give them time to grow their balls back and change their position again.
