cant believe that young kid who won team sprint with hoy and kenny has said he fell off his bike on purpose so he cud get a restart! hopefully nothing will happen from what he said but sum1 will probably do sumthing about it!

it's within the rules. in commentary they were praising his savvy for one so young and inexperienced!

i thought if you fell accidently or you have a mechanical problem at the start you can hav a restart! but he said in an interview on tv after they raced in the final that he did it on purpose. i hope nothing cums of it and they keep their golds!

i think he only admitted it rammy just before the medal ceromony so maybe if sum1 sees it now cos its been on the news then they mite be a sum kind of protest! it happened in an early round so i cant see anythin happening but it dont look gud when he admitted he did it on purpose! like i say i hope they keep the medals!

The rules say a team is allowed a restart after a "mishap". They don't specify what a mishap is...

You get one restart. If it happens again, the team is relegated.

I'm having difficulty seeing anything other than Zara Dampney to be honest. What's the score? Wink

Shame they lost but I hope it stands them in good stead for the future.

I wonder if the Nigerians will challenge them to play poker?

Saw that interview think he didnt understand jill douglas meant by pulling a fast one.

he was defintly having trouble with the steering so did look mechanical should be applauded for having the intellegence to go down rather than carry on

So can I just make sure I've got this right: in cycling it's ok to play the system to your advantage but if you do it in badminton you get disqualified?
