Australia have won the the toss (again) and have decided to ball

The England team is as mentioned above (Root still at 3) and the Australia team is unchanged

Cook in another self inflicted dismissal by virtue of needlessly fishing at a ball outside off stump Rolleyes.
Carberry and Root just need to settle things down and slowly build a foundation.

Swann has denied your allegation.

Tea taken with England 135/3. Pietersen was caught but the fielder overstepped the boundary, plus Watson has gone off the field injured. For a change a few things have gone England's way today, but it's been a hard slog for England nonetheless.

So far England's batsmen all getting in but still not going on to make a significant score.

The end of the day score is England 226-6

The England batsmen are again getting a start and failing to get a big score .
And the pitch is taking spin... Monty can you hear Smile

Our only hope is that the bowlers can hang around long enough for KP to find another gear & get close to 300.

Agree and if we do get close to 300 still have a chance. Aussies have yet to bat (and bat probably last) on a pitch that will be more suited to our bowlers than the wickets so far in this series.

The 300 is looking a long way off, now that Bresnam and Pietersen are out in Mitchel Johnson's 1st over.
Broad's decided to go on an all out offensive to get a few quick runs
