This is painful to watch.

Soon time for the David Warner show too once Mitchell Johnson has had his fun Sad.
Hopefully the Warner show will be cut short but the way this series is going it hardly matters.

Edit: Oh well at least Warner was out cheaply Rolleyes.
Clutching at straws I know but its something at least Rolleyes.

England' have their best day, taking with Broad taking the wicket of Siddle in the last over of the day to leave Australia 164-9 & still 91 runs behind.Only Haddin on 43 not out stands in their way from getting a useful 1st innings lead.

Why this never happened earlier in the series will probably remain a mystery. It may not be a big innings lead but hopefully it can be one that we can build on!!

This has proved to be the English style pitch that they were expecting. A bit of movement and swing and noT as much bounch as in previous matches.

Good team bowling performance by England

Attritional cricket on an attritional pitch.
England took advantage. Its all too little too late and there is work to be done to win the game but at least its a start.
England will need to bat well second time of asking.

No mystery Babelover as Charlemagne said this is the only pitch so far this series that has been anything like an English wicket.

Piers Morgan faced an over against Brett Lee in the nets after criticizing England's poor display in the first 3 Test & questioning their bottle on Twitter. He was trying to prove a point & at the same time feeding his massive ego.He got hit 4 times, got put on his arse & was clean bowled as Lee overstepped the front line by a mile.Morgan was backing away to leg every ball.Warne,Vaughan,Johnson & Siddle watched on in amazement.

29 runs have come in the first half an hour, eating into Englands lead.

Fortune favours the brave as luck deservedly goes with the Australian batsmen who have decided to attack some very poor bowling.
