The loan fee for Cedric Soares is in the region of £1 million.

Pleased with both the defensive signings, would prefer if they were full acquisitions but Mari's has the option to buy & Soares is cover for Bellerin. It's up to them and Arteta to prove their worth, if they don't make the grade they go back, so whilst it might take a bit of prestige away from the club not to be able to go out and buy two defenders when we need them, it may prove to be a shrewd bit of business if it turns out that they are not what we are looking for. If Mari isn't good enough then we haven't wasted £22m if he is and we buy him in the summer we will have a player who is has a bit of experience in the squad & league for the new season

There are some games like away to Chelsea with that 10 men fight back or home to United where you see real improvement & cause for optimism. Then there are games like today & what else can be said other than that was DIRE

4-0 Big Grin, the first goal definitely settled us down but I do wish the pundits give us a little bit more credit sometimes Rolleyes
Good game from Ozil though almost played the full 90 Big Grin

I'm starting to enjoy watching Arsenal again. Good result against Olympiacos and another clean sheet Smile. Let's hope it continues against Everton

Would you say getting Arsenal should be looking at getting someone in that striker role that reminded you of Bergkamp, and would you consider that to be a target for the summer window? And is Arteta now getting the best out of Ozil as well?

Absolutely gutting to go out after that wonderful goal by Auba but can't complain too much because for the other 119 mins we were absolute dross.

As much as I like Laca I am really starting to think that unless he starts scoring regularly he should be benched so Auba can play through the middle.

In another universe Arsenal have Aubameyang through middle, Martinelli on the left, Gnabry on the right & £72m to spend on the defence
