If Merkel's wishes had been respected the extension would have been twice as long. RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - HannahsPet - 11-04-2019 13:38 Oh but macron caved in quite a bit apparently some said he went way overboard and they needed a ladder for him to climb down. Macron is worried about the euro elections and La pen and the Yellow vest movement We all know EU is Germanys bitch because they are the bank rollers RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - HannahsPet - 11-04-2019 13:39 Nice to see Parliment are going on holiday RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - skully - 11-04-2019 14:30 Gives everyone a short break from this headache I suppose, then the shitshow shall commence...with zero pace...probably. Hey, at least this extension allows us to enjoy watching and also be depressed about GoT ending, oh and Trump is losing it more each day, so it's not like there will be a shortage of news about a broken political system, oh and Isreal, and Assange, so lots of fun RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - GMach1 - 11-04-2019 16:00 Assuming that there still will be a Parliament because the way it is crumbling all around speaks volumes of how stubborn these representatives of the country are-they were warned to move out soon but for traditions sake remain-surely the leaking roof last week was a sign that things can only get worse! RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - southsidestu - 11-04-2019 20:18 No deal is still a possibility despite the Cooper Bill RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - lovebabes56 - 11-04-2019 21:33 Just hope UKIP wil wipe out every Tory/Labour held seat in the European Elections RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - The Silent Majority - 11-04-2019 21:36 (11-04-2019 16:00 )GreenMachine Wrote: Assuming that there still will be a Parliament because the way it is crumbling all around speaks volumes of how stubborn these representatives of the country are-they were warned to move out soon but for traditions sake remain-surely the leaking roof last week was a sign that things can only get worse! You've changed your tune (24-03-2019 15:10 )GreenMachine Wrote: Houses of Parliament beautiful building, historic, iconic and photographed many times and appeared in films like James Bond etc. Scottish Parliament building, vastly overrated, ghastly design, way over the original budget and run by Jimmy Krankie. I think I know who would be laughing at whose parliament & building. Elizabeth Tower rules(housing the most iconic clock and bell in the world(when its not covered up) RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - SecretAgent - 11-04-2019 21:37 ^^ Babelover - You do realise UKIP are now an openly racist party don’t you? Is that now your position? RE: Europe, Referendum & Brexit (formerly Europe..IN or OUT??) - GMach1 - 12-04-2019 17:12 No not really because yours is a relatively new build whereas the Houses of Parliament has a long historical history and is an iconic building the world over-however I'd like to see it still around for people to visit and take pictures of but if it falls apart that won't happen, so no, I've not changed my tune at all-it makes sense to get out of a building that is crumbling rather than staying and have the ceiling fall on you. Didn't Nigel Farage once say that he was retiring from UKIP to "get my life back!" well that didn't last long, I knew he'd be back, he was always in the shadows but I expected him back to lead UKIP again not launch a brand new party which if BREXIT is finally put to bed, he will have to rebrand it as it will be obsolete! |
