RE: Who exactly are Ofcom protecting. - Foxy - 27-01-2011 01:14 Hypocritical society we live in today guys .... there's more nudity, implied sexuality, provocative behaviour in everyday soaps than is allowed on the Babe Channels!!! Let's hope Ofcom take a hard look at their hypocritical bible at some point soon and re-write it!!! Don't expect any relaxation in the laws. RE: Ofcom Discussion - SCIROCCO - 27-01-2011 07:39 Switched off early again last night. Very tame across the board. Are they running scared or has a warning being issued? RE: Ofcom Discussion - StanTheMan - 27-01-2011 16:35 It's hard to take any positives from the current sceneario. Sport are just about keeping my attention but the rest have given up the fight completley... if there was any fight there to begin with. The end of the babeshow is nigh!! RE: Ofcom Discussion - Scottishbloke - 27-01-2011 18:19 Yes about the only good performer on last night was Lori Buckby on Elite Tv. I also switched off early last night but I got a really good nights sleep for a change. All in all last nights shows all across the board were disappointing. RE: Ofcom Discussion - anchorman - 27-01-2011 18:43 the only way to stop it is if people stop ringing the babe channels, channels like babestation get away with such tame shows because people lap it up and keep ringing,so babestation is like why change the boring shows when they still get the calls, dont you worry if the phone lines went quiet they wouldnt be long getting the girls to do something that will get there customers back i.e FLASH THE PUSS lol RE: Ofcom Discussion - StanTheMan - 27-01-2011 19:34 (27-01-2011 18:43 )babefinder Wrote: the only way to stop it is if people stop ringing the babe channels, channels like babestation get away with such tame shows because people lap it up and keep ringing,so babestation is like why change the boring shows when they still get the calls, dont you worry if the phone lines went quiet they wouldnt be long getting the girls to do something that will get there customers back i.e FLASH THE PUSS lol I see your point, babefinder, but the problem here is that there are plenty of people who are happy with what they get from the likes of Tamestation, so they have no reason to stop calling as they're already getting what they want. RE: Ofcom Discussion - bigguy01 - 27-01-2011 19:39 the problem is ofcom have dated rules and the babe channels fall outside those rules therefore ofcom brings in rules which are dated. fair enough about 9pm to 10pm no tits, nakedness etc which allows time for the distinction of the watershed but once its 10pm the ladies should be allowed to go nude and not wait for 11pm under the current rules. the daytime shows got hit big time with the cloting rule, i think the ladies should be allowed to wear what they want as long as their bits are securely fasten in to minimalise the risk of slippage. ofcom need to reform their complaints prodecure by not accepting complaints after the indicent in question is being talked about in the public media eg brand and ross "sachsgate" more people complained about after the story broke then when it was broadcasted. they recieved only about 100 or so then monday morning it went upto 100,000+ RE: Ofcom Discussion - Scottishbloke - 27-01-2011 19:53 Ofcom are treading a fine line here, tighten up restrictions too much and just how will they account for lost revenue due to the fact they would be unable to fine any more babe channels. Once again after the new guidelines are written up at the end of February it'll be another head scratcher on just what you can and can't show. Ofcom are sly and add about as much confusion as the last set of rules in place and this is done blatantly on purpose. Wouldn't it be great if this country hit something of an economic slump and more cuts had to be made starting with the axing of Ofcom. Who knows miracles can happen. |
