And Brighton got stuffed 3-0 at Swindon. Is it wrong of me to be as happy about the Tesco boys losing as I am about my own lot winning? Big Grin

Usually yes but not when its the swine who beat them

It's obviously a popular result, as both "Swindon" and "#STFC" are currently trending on Twitter.
And the evening just got even better. Millwall and Charlton both lost on penalties to teams in a lower division Bounce

Do I need my eyes tested? I'm nearly sure I read on the Sky Sports website they called the League Cup, the Capital One Cup

Portsmouth gave 9 players their debut tonight. Make that 11 by including the 2 that came off the bench to make their debut. We couldn't name the full complement of subs because we don't have that many players, but just to be playing a match is good after our close brush with liquidation. Oh almost forgot, we lost 0-3.

city managed to keep up our league cup tradition of going out in the first round tonight, that's 8 years in a row now with the last 4 years being to lower league sides Rolleyes ,
we were really bad tonight, we need a forward with some pace and someone who can create in midfield, the gills made us look like a pub side tonight at times and i fear what good championship teams will do to us, it's going to be an outer long season Sad

OK so Portsmouth are back on the brink after our prospective buyer pulled out from taking over the club. When will this soap opera end?

Whilst talking about football clubs and debt... Nice to see Plymouth getting on with things. I think it is nothing short of a remarkable recovery that after cheating innocent people out of hundreds and thousands of pounds they are looking to build to the future....

Can't wait till Saturday, bring on eagles favorite team Big Grin

Gonna be strange this year, first year without a season pass in years, I predict at least a top six finish this year, if our strikers pull their finger out we should be challenging the top two automatic spots
