Wonderful prices above you'd never get that now. We never had it so good. Big Grin
Wallpapers good but the one we had isn't there.
The Adventure Game anyone?
Best quiz show on BBC2 with dragons turn into humans and yes that IS Moira Stuart on the far left in purple. Definitely fancied the girl on the right. Wink

No wonder our car industry fell apart.!

Top left one we had. Would have been around 1970ish, then one day the engine just refused to start, can recall my Dad and Grandad (both mechanically minded) under the bonnet saying that the engine had reached the ‘end of the line’...I’d forgotten about that until I saw the picture just now, and bang...memory triggered.

Top right was my Grandad’s car and I absolutely dreaded going in it. There was always a smell of ‘something’ in the car which, combined with the car’s motion would always lead to my having a car sick episode...every single time.

One of my Mam’s brother’s would come from Liverpool along with a couple of my cousins to visit every so often and he had a Ford Anglia..hideous vehicle.

Funny you should mention the Ford Anglia. My grandfather and his first wife(my first grandma on my mum's side) had one and he was so tall his legs came right up to the steering wheel and he used to steer it in the middle of the wheel-dangerous thing to do back then. Also featured is the car I always wanted-the Ford Capri, Ford Escort, Police car Ford, the classic Mini and the Morris Marina.

More classic cars. My afore-mentioned grandfather had a beige Jaguar with automatic windows! He also had an Austin Princess which I was sick in the back of. Nice looking British-made Roller back then, Ford Cortina, classic Sweeney-type car and the Jensen Interceptor, best car in a Trump pack.

(I think Corn Flakes were the first cereal I ever had, but Rice Krispies were my favourites when abroad or on holiday but we rarely had those little ones at home)
