RE: Liverpool FC - Mr77 - 02-12-2014 23:02 Nice result & though at times we were shaky , especially Mignolet , we got the three points which is what matters and Gerrard stood out with his performance , nice goal as well . RE: Liverpool FC - westie2k - 03-12-2014 02:28 Again not great, but we showed some heart at least and could be a building block :-) its the United game a week on Sunday, we need a good display against them. RE: Liverpool FC - Fernandez Esperenda - 03-12-2014 21:44 Mignolet is Shit, one of the worst looking keepers in the league.. RE: Liverpool FC - Mr77 - 04-12-2014 00:28 To be fair to Mignolet he can make the saves when he has too and wasn't to blame for Leicester's goal , but he's got poor decision making and isn't commanding enough of the defenders , I really hope this Cech rumor is true as he could solve some of our problems . As for Lambert I think he's proved he's more than capable and should start in front of Balotelli even when he's fit , Toure's looked good too . RE: Liverpool FC - Fernandez Esperenda - 04-12-2014 10:40 Make the saves when he has too? when's that then, all I usually see him do is let the ball go through his legs, get lost in corners, or pass the ball to the wrong team... He saves shots that all goalkeepers should be saving. As for tuesdays performance, again he was shit, he passed the ball straight to cambiasso and was lucky he missed an open goal.. and he was running around in his box like a headless chicken for the goal he conceded at the near post.. you don't get beat at your near post.. RE: Liverpool FC - setter1000 - 04-12-2014 11:06 I am amazed that neither Liverpool or Arsenal came in for Cech. He certainly would be an upgrade in the goal keeping position for either team. I think Liverpool are more than capable of turning things around especially if Sturridge gets fit. RE: Liverpool FC - westie2k - 04-12-2014 20:31 (04-12-2014 10:40 )Fernandez Esperenda Wrote: Make the saves when he has too? when's that then, all I usually see him do is let the ball go through his legs, get lost in corners, or pass the ball to the wrong team...I honestly don't know what has happened to him, is it a lack of competition since he arrived? Because b4 he got to us I used to rate him. He just seems to put the whole team on edge, a team needs confidence in its keeper. There where rumours we r looking at Cech, not sure if they have started to fade a bit now. At least the team on the whole have stopped thinking it's there god given right to win and are sticking in a bit. But massive improvement is needed. RE: Liverpool FC - setter1000 - 04-12-2014 20:56 Sterling does not seem to be the same player he was last season. I get the impression that he can sometimes have an attitude problem such as when he said steady to Rodgers in a training session and that he was tired to Roy before the Eastonia game. I bet if we were playing Italy Spain Holland France or Germany he would not have same complaint. RE: Liverpool FC - Mr77 - 06-12-2014 13:17 First image of next seasons's home shirt , wouldn't be so bad if it was just sublimated with the vertical stripes or even no sublimation at all . RE: Liverpool FC - Fernandez Esperenda - 07-12-2014 00:17 “As a club we felt that was the solution at the time. Obviously Daniel Sturridge has shown in his career so far that he gets injuries. We had Rickie Lambert. Fabio Borini was looking as though he was gone so it would have been unfair to leave Rickie, as a 32-year-old, as the only striker we had. But although I felt signing Mario was a risk, as a group we couldn’t afford not to at the time.” Rodgers out, talking about Mario in an interview when he wasn't even in the squad to take the heat off his own shit performances, It was Rodgers that signed mario in the first place, he knew what type of player he was before he singed him, he needs to keep his mouth shut.. why sign a player then slag him off all season to the media? |
