If Hamilton wins a race that Rosberg doesn't finish, they'll be almost even again. Nico's luck can't keep holding up, Lewis just needs to be able to take advantage when it slips. It's about time Mercedes disiplined Rosberg by dropping him from a GP. RE: Formula 1 - circles_o_o_o - 25-08-2014 00:11 Hamilton says Rosberg hit him on purpose. Quote:"We just had a meeting about it and he basically said he did it on purpose," said Hamilton. RE: Formula 1 - manic street pugilist - 25-08-2014 01:31 Surely the team should take responsibility for this, as they allow their drivers to race each other and therefore must know that something like this might happen. RE: Formula 1 - Fernandez Esperenda - 25-08-2014 12:16 I don't see what all the fuss is about... they were racing, both wan't the championship, why should 1 of them let the other past? it's a race, they were told to race by the team.. RE: Formula 1 - cosmonaut - 25-08-2014 12:35 The fuss is because the golden rule of Formula 1, as someone posted above, is that the one thing you don't do is crash into your team mate, whether you're racing him or not. The fuss is less that there was contact, but that said contact could (and should) have been avoided on Nico's part, but he chose not to... Quote:The 2008 world champion added: "He said he could have avoided it, but he didn't want to. He basically said, 'I did it to prove a point'." What his 'point' was supposed to be I don't know. RE: Formula 1 - Fernandez Esperenda - 26-08-2014 16:43 Lewis Could have slowed down or done something to avoid contact, both were racing and Rosbergs point is that he isn't going to be seen as a number 2 driver.. Hamilton ran him off the track and came close too it numerous times at the Bharain GP.. |
