You get what majority of people voted for. A clown (and his circus) are now in charge of the country.

French minister reckons the EU and Britain will tear itself apart trying to get a new deal-well we have 10 months for Boris to "get it done" and if not he is going to look pretty stupid...AGAIN! Big Grin

RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - lovebabes56 - 17-02-2020 19:17

I am now beginning to think Boris can't get it done in 10 months IMO he has to step up and show that he CAN get it done otherwise, he is not PM material and people will be starting to wonder just WHO the hell we really have got in No.10 as PM.

RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - skully - 17-02-2020 19:45

Lol, he's never been PM material, he's totally out of his depth and no amount of bluster and bullshit will change that. There are many who are/were more suitable (than him) as leader in the Tories, a PM should be moderate and bring together all aspects of their party imo.
The fact that he is repeating lies as some sort of mantra should have every sane person worrying, it doesn't matter which way you voted, we all need those in charge to be taking this seriously and be thinking of all of our best interests. This whole ''how many'' chant is childish.

Isn't it obvious? Dominic Cummings.

If she isn't forced to resign I'd be very surprised

RE: Politics - The Non-Brexit Thread. - skully - 20-02-2020 20:23

I doubt she'll be forced out, you have to look at what the others around her have been saying, this kind of thing is the norm for some of them.

I reckon Labour will choose Keir Starmer & Rebecca Long Dining Table(Bailey) to run against each other for the Leadership. Lisa Nandy has a slim chance(she is rather cute) but I think it's those two.
