Count Binface has conducted a more dignified campaign.

It looks less of an election campaign, more like a desperate attempt to engineer a viral tiktok!

Action Man has more appeal than Ed Davey I think!!

well election day itself then the count god i hope we are not having a collective Bobby ewing moment and we all wake up in the shower and boris has won the 2019 election by 89 seats and the last 5 years was all a dream Tongue Tongue

RE: General Election 2024 - lovebabes56 - 04-07-2024 08:59

Could be worse - could wake up and find that David Cameron won the 2010 election Tongue and the last fourteen years were a dream!!

Bear in mind we are voting on American independence Day we should vote with a clear and definte conscience and clear mind about who our next Government should be and who our next PM should be

Good luck everybody with your choice.

Prdeictions - what's to predict, the result itself is a foregone conclusion, Labour will win with a clear majority.
Only thing to predict is the numbers, and that's a lottery given the multitude of factors at play in certain constituencies.

My hopes are

1) the tories get less than a hundred and so are seriously humiliated and decimated, why, just because Smile

2) reform get no mp's, though all the predictions are that they may get at least a couple, so at the very least -

3) don't let Farage get elected. The man is insufferable enough now. The only good thing if he does get elected, as I have said previously, he is a professional underdog and outsider, at least if he is given the responsibility of being an MP I believe it will show him up for the waste of space he really is.

Other than that, the one thing I look forward to is, as already mentioned, the great british tradition of pictures of dogs at polling stations, bring it on Big Grin

There's a 32 Squadron RAF VIP Flight booked to land at Teesside Airport at 1630 today. It's almost certainly Sunak getting out of London early to come and hide at his constituency home in Richmond for the night Big Laugh

He has already voted in richmond a couple of hours ago prob back to london and then back again for the count

Richmond in Surrey?
Question: who is in No. 10 when an Outgoing PM leaves Downing Street and welcomes the New PM?

why can't he use Network Rail like the rest of us? Tongue
