Well done to Stuart Bingham, he is a great guy who truly deserves his success. I played him once at an exhibition so I now can say I have played a world champion ( even though I lost )

2 players to look out for Yan Bingtao who is 15 and Zhou Yuelong, who is 17, they beat Scottish team of Stephen MacGuire and John Higgins in Snooker World Cup final playing as China B

China is an ever improving force in the game.
The game has really taken off over there in the last decade.
The fact that major tournaments are played there definitely helps as does the fact that Ding Junhui is their shining star.
He is a hero in China for his exploits not just on the regular circuit but for his exploits in the Asian Games too.
Xiao Guodong is a potential star of the game too although rather older than Bingtao and Yuelong.
Sooner or later China will have a World Champion imo.

Many congratulations to Ali Carter who tonight has won the 'Paul Hunter Classic' by beating Shaun Murphy 4-3 in the final.
In many ways there could no more fitting a winner of such a tournament bearing in mind what Ali has been through in the last few years.
