RE: Manchester United FC - stato - 26-08-2014 21:14 What a fucking disgrace - come back Moyes - all is forgiven! RE: Manchester United FC - Rogergilford54 - 26-08-2014 21:30 MK DONS arn't a bad side you know, now remind me on what league are they in? LOL. RE: Manchester United FC - Matt77 - 26-08-2014 22:37 Need more strikers! Some decent centrebacks would be a start, abandon three at the back and get some ability in the middle of the park. The worrying aspect is that they don't seem to have any fight in them whether it be the league team or the league cup players. This was the case under Moyes and seems to be continuing under LVG. He just seems to sit there on the bench with Giggs and his dutch assistant barely talking to one another and making notes! Several goals down to MK Dons and no one on the touchline balling out the non-performers. Clearly no leaders in the dressing room. Can't imagine Keano letting this rot set in if he was still there. Di Maria is an excellent signing, but so many other problem areas. A top 4 finish is a pipe dream. We supposedly have an easy start yet at this rate will we match last seasons 7th place? Burnley away at the weekend and on current form a point may be a good result. Last time we played Burnley away in the league we lost with a better team that was in better form! Congratulations MK Dons by the way! A night for their players and fans to savour. PS. Imagine if we had to play Chelsea or City at this moment in time - carnage! RE: Manchester United FC - Joey 27 - 26-08-2014 23:00 you didn't exactly lose 4-3 tonight so scoring goals is a problem for you, will van persie stay fit all season? Apart from Evans the defenders were very inexperienced and playing in a formation they probably have never played in.....generally as mentioned earlier in this thread, the number of goals conceded hasn't been a problem. Its the lack of goals scored and chances created. The biggest problem united have is in midfield. Every cloud has a silver lining, or so they say. I think these poor performances will help open the Glazers chequebook. RE: Manchester United FC - Fernandez Esperenda - 27-08-2014 01:18 Youve already spent over 130m this window... Think thats already been opened.. RE: Manchester United FC - bytor - 27-08-2014 05:57 The team had a fair few inexperienced young players but you would still expect them to beat MK Dons and have to agree with the earlier post and say well done to them for their win. They wanted it more. We had a bright start but that soon disappeared. It will be interesting to see how we perform when all the new players are available and with hopefully one or two more purchases. Any United fans who are crying panic at the moment are being premature after just a few games. Disappointing and alarming results, yes but give it a couple of monyhs before asking for a new manager. Besides central defence and a stronger midfield, a captain with grit and determination is definitely missing from the squad and is essential. RE: Manchester United FC - lovebabes56 - 27-08-2014 06:23 And Surely one must wonder if Rooney is the one to be the captain? |
