Boy, did this week's story suck.

RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 27-04-2013 19:16

thought it wasn't bad myself. liked the references to Lancashire where jenna louise coleman is from and clara finding the model of the tardis that amy pond made and finding out what the doctor's real name was when she read the book of the time war only to not remember everything when the doctor sealed the rift that threatened to destroy the tardis

Never liked it either hoping the next weeks ep is a lot better.

I think the issues that a few of us had with last weeks episode haven't been resolved this week. Yeah I enjoyed both, but they do feel like something is missing, or that they have been rushed. Two potentially great episodes not living up to expectations is a bad sign imo, hopefully next week will get things back on track and feel right.

If the rumours about Moffat's reign of (t)error and the anniversary special are true, it's going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Next week looks like a return to the halcyon days of cribbing a plot from classic literature. Unfortunately, it's Roald Dahl.

Crossing fingers that my script for the next Dr Who series gets the green light. To make sure it gets the go ahead I've paid scant attention to the past successes of Dr Who and totally immersed the script in the new style. It's a great storyline for the modern era
The Dr and his wife, River celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary when suddenly there is a bright light and the Dr disappears. Waking up he finds he has been transported by an evil intelligence into an alternative dimension. Here he celebrates his first wedding anniversary to 100 River Ponds. The more the merrier is the idea.
The episode sees the Dr running around a lot, in a variety of directions with his sonic screwdriver held at arms length, resolving everything. Just as all seems hopeless the evil intelligence reveals itself as a harmless juvenile gas cloud entity trapped in a nonsensical vacuum. They all live happily ever after.

I'm hoping it's good enough but the problem I have is I'm hetero so not sure the BBC will hire me!

I think that's already been done mate

Next week The Doctor (Matt Smith) runs around frantically waving his sonic screwdriver when suddenly Tom Baker appears grabs it off him and shoves it up his arse (Smiths arse not Bakers) and says "right,I'm in fucking charge now"
