Rumour or not? I read an article in the 'Daily Telegraph' which stated that the BBC's cricket correspondent, Jonathan Agnew, was working in Waitrose (England's new sponsor) manning the public address system. He was allegedly doing this in order to supplement his meagre stipend from the BBC.

England beat Scotland by 39 runs D/L Method.

The match was eventually reduced from a 23 over contest to 20 overs after rain during England's innings halted play. The umpires kept the match going during rain which just game them the minimum overs to make it a match in a reduced 50 over International ODI.

I see England have changed their ODI uniform - yet again. annoyed They have changed from all red (I never understood that!?) to a combination of light and royal blue. I wonder if their new sponsor, Waitrose, had any in say in what colour they used?

Sammy was a decent captain & got the side through some tough times.
His retirement from Test Cricket has allowed him to hold his head high,as the reality was that he would never have been picked again as one of the foot-soldiers,both his batting & bowling have been short of Test match standards.

He still has plenty to offer in both the shorter forms of the games.
