The disappointment of all this is that eventually we will end up with Lewis walking away from F1 simply because if he was to move to another team, it is entirely possible another driver will react the same way. The other thing is I think the was the incident has been played out has possibly made most F1 drivers look like that they act like spoilt brats.

Also it would seem like that according to reports yesterday Jenson Button is possibly will be quitting F1 at the end of the season.

Hardly of got a mention had it been Hamilton that hit Rosberg!

RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 30-08-2014 12:27

Probably because it was Rosberg who ran into the back of Hamilton Rolleyes

I really don't see why Mercedes are bollocking and threatening both drivers when it's Rosberg that's being a dick.

If anyone needs a bollocking at Mercedes, it's the management/strategy guys. Some of their race strategy calls have been abysmal. And also Lewis' pit stop crew, who have been consistently slow.

Hamilton win the Italian GP.. Smile

RE: Formula 1 - circles_o_o_o - 07-09-2014 16:23

Of course they deny it Wink

Quote:When asked after the race if Rosberg's off-track excursions were part of his punishment for colliding with Hamilton at the Belgian GP, Wolff told BBC Sport: "That was a perfect result, it was very exciting, there was no touching but still some great racing.

"You mean did we tell Rosberg to miss his brake and miss the chicane and allow Lewis to pass him? No not at all.

RE: Formula 1 - sterling - 07-09-2014 20:35

Hamilton lost a potential 25 points when Rosberg intentionally hit him and ultimately ended his race. The difference is 7 points from 1st to 2nd place, so if Rosberg makes 3.5 intentional mistakes to let Hamilton win then all will be even....... Rolleyes

I thought it was a great race today throughout all the points scoring places.
