Not forgetting the greens share of the vote was 1.1 million and that's not even getting started on labours share of the vote.

they may be idiots but the way you deal with it is not to call them idiots but to listen to the greviences and then try and pusuade them to your way of thinking

treating the electorate like morons is why labour lost in the first place. thats why the left will never win a full general election to much preaching and not enough understanding of the situations and coming up with policys that help

good point by former labour minister alan milburn on daily politics this morning about immigration said managed migration is good for the country but it has to be planned so there are enough resources to cope with the migrants coming in. but he said no one trusts either party on it because they have got it so badly in the past labour fucked up when they said would be 18,000 eastern europeans would come the number was over 800,000 and torys promised to get it to about 100,000 its 300,000

While there are a few things which UKIP stand for i'm kind of on the same wavelength with, namedly migration and a change to the UK/Euro relationship. There is no denying that UKIP has become the haven for a lot of bigots.

My own thinking is that UKIP has become a home for BNP style thinking.

Well Nigel didn't exactly put in his manifesto about getting pubs reopened did he? If Robinson does quit I still think Farage wouldn't even contest it...He seemed pretty comfortable in the South East corner...

Did they put a map show what the vote would like under PR or not?

UKIP seems to be popular with the coastal areas of Britain.
Anything to do with the EU's fishing rules?

UKIP's support would come from the same areas under PR as it does now, so a map for the vote under PR would be the same as the one above.
