2 jokers in 3 attempts, that's something to celebrate, and another week of being top scorer with 14 points! If it wasn't for all the meh weeks in between I could have been claiming the title by now. 12 points looks too much of a deficit to make up in one go, so even if I can get 14 points in successive weeks I can only allow Dionne to get 1 point in the final round. I predict that anyone who doesn't support Arsenal is going to get at least 1 point from the Man City v West Ham game.

I have gone for a final day battering for the blades.

They have gone down in style after letting in 108 goals.

Unfortunately, such requests proved impossible. Wink

You have the power to make it possible Wink

I don't know what you mean, my predictions are always what I truly think will happen.

Since it's the final week, Reg not only can you make the impossible possible Wink but you're a quality host of this tournament so from me thanks for all you do.
And finally good luck to all and hopefully everyone has had an enjoyable time taking part this season.

I'm going on holiday later today so I'll wax lyrical now.

A solid, but average closing week for me to end the season, and nowhere near good enough to win the title. But over the 38 weeks my Kenergy came out and I came a respectable 2nd. I'm pleased to have finished top scorer most times, and thank you to Regenerated for doing such a great job organising everything, and giving me the platform for my Kenergy to come out.

I don't even want to think about sports' results for the next week or so. Ibiza here i come!

(Edit) Congratulations to dionnelover for being the most consistent player and finishing top of the league. I may have been top scorer most times but I was up and down like a yoyo.

Well done to dionnelover09 it was a very impressive win.

And it was another successful session Regenerated. Thank you for running the contest.

Well that was my first season in the competition & I thoroughly enjoyed it. I set myself a goal of trying to finish in the top half & achieved that with 10th place.

I’d hoped I might sneak ahead of Boomer in the final week to gain Yorkshire bragging rights but he outscored me and deservedly beat me. Congratulations to dionnelover on his win and of course a big thanks to Regenerated for such excellent organisation running the competition.

Now hoping that next seasons competition contains Leeds United!

Firstly thanks to Reg for your endeavours & time spent on running a flawless comp, take a well earned rest mate.
Secondly congratulations to dionnelover09 in repeating last years title winning season, no mean feat. consistent throughout, & never seams to have a bad round, let alone a bad spell.
The overall standard was very high, the winner was pushed all the way by half a dozen or so top performers, with Joannis the eventual runner up also topping the 300 point mark, which would be good enough to win the lot in most seasons.
I'll admit that I had half an eye on SecretAgent who has been a great addition to the comp adding to the overall quality with an above average first season.
Between him & me I have sort of put out a friendly challenge on the babeshow front, which I fully expect him to get one over on me on that score, as I've never before been recognized in the require manner in the past, although I'm working on it this year.
Thanks for all those that have played regardless of where you have finished you have played your part, & someone has to finish last no shame in that, at some point we will or have all spent time at the wrong end of the table.
To all that have played, or considering playing for the first time next season, treat it as a bit of fun, joining in is what a forum should be about, this is just another example of that. Let's face it we can't spend every hour bashing the bishop, Surprised this is more of a case of light relief, rather than hand relief.Wink Important

Wow your first season and you have been on the forum for 12 years , where have you been , welcome a board.

And congrats Dionnelover.

Firstly thanks to Regenerated for running another successful competition, along with getting results up asap especially during the busy periods. I feel the format worked well this season.
The standard from everyone who took part was definitely the best its been in a season that's seen some strange results.
I never expected to retain my title again this season, maybe the first forum member to do so. I was pushed all the way this year was always looking over my shoulder, especially towards the end with Joannis finishing strongly.

I'll be back in August for the new season to try defend my title.
