Van Gaal has pruned the squad now. Since he has arrived 14 players have gone with Cleverley now being loaned out today to Villa. We now actually have a better balanced side than we have had for a few seasons. People keep on saying how poor the defence is yet we have not seen how the defence will peform under VG as it has not yet taken to the pitch. Once Shaw, Rojo and Blind are added to the mix who knows, it might provide the very stability we have been missing.
One thing is for sure Di Maria will add a new dimension and Falcao should be a 20 goal a season player. If Rooney plays behind the forward line and RvP stays fit then scoring more than we let in is a very real possibility....he says optimistically Smile

So now we get criticised for selling Danny Welbeck? When would he get a game given the better players ahead of him? He is a good player but like too many at OT has been in a comfort zone. He has hardly been a prolific scorer since he made the first team. The move to Arsenal will probably do him good but United did the right thing in selling him.

Both penalties came after Leicester fouled a United defender, the refereeing has been a joke.

RE: Manchester United FC - Fernandez Esperenda - 21-09-2014 14:55

Because howard webb or any other ref has never given united any soft penalties before...

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Anyway most of your recent PL titles are based on conspiracy theories, biased ref's, and an extra couple of matches a season made up by injury time Smile
