There are a lot of US policies I don't agree with but Osama Bin Laden was a mass murderer and what he planned and instructed to have carried out 10 years ago will go down in history as one of the most pointless, evil and ruthless events this world has ever seen. The images I watched on my TV that day it just didn't seem real, the absolute brutality of it all and the unnecessary emotional pain he caused was unthinkable and ever since then you can't even board a plane without all the extra security measures in place. A few years ago I was at fort lauderdale airport in Florida and all I wanted to do was go for a fag and it took me 1 hour going through security just to go outside for a smoke and back all thanks to Bin Laden. The cowboy antics however that the US deployed by just taking him straight out, personally I would have preferred to have seen him captured alive and brought to justice as under a democracy everyone is entitled to a fair trial and despite that fact that what we are talking about here is low life scum of the earth it begs the question how can we in the western civilized world preach the word of democracy when we set an example such as this, but nonetheless good riddance to the bastard I hope he's burning right now over the fire's over hell. (That's if hell really exists or if it's just a manmade afterworld analysis to try to make us feel like our lives have any point to it.)

which 2 sides would that be then? barca and madrid!Wink theres going to be loads of conspiracy theories going around, was he already dead, or did they really just kill him. they say they have photos which they might release, like they did when they killed saddams sons just to prove to the iraqi people that they were dead. why wont they show the REAL photos of him dead then to prove it to the world? they might over the next few days, but i doubt they willbladewave

Another question remains was this taking out of Bin Laden legal because as I've stated previously irrespective of the crimes committed even the most heinous ones under western democracy everybody is entitled to a fair trial, as much as I'm glad that he's dead I strongly protest in the manner in which it was carried out. If he was brought to trial I think we would have less chance of another revenge attack because these celebrations that the world is currently rejoicing over could spell disaster and might very well provoke another terrorist attack and if that happens will the US end up with blood stains on their hands. I don't want to be the prophet of doom here but what if this leads to another war and possibly a 3rd World War. We don't know what the future holds but if people think that now that Osama Bin Laden is dead and all their problems are now over then they are clearly deluded.

I can understand all the rejoicing over the death of Bin Laden, but found the comment by President Obama,"The world is now a safer place"somewhat naive, the death of one man is not going to stop the hardline fanatics,i agree with Scottishbloke there is now a sense of foreboding in the air.

Now he's gone, who is next in line, Pakistan has a lot of questions to answer for as bin laden apparently lived there for 5 yearsbladewave
