There is now a big chance England will not make it now. I would really like to see England in Brasil instead of Montenegro but if they cannot beat teams like this then they don't deserve to qualify...

Montenegro are actually a decent team. A draw away is OK for England so long as they beat them at Wembley.

They really aren't, all they have is 2 half decen't strikers, England should be beating them, a draw is not good enough, if you don't qualify come back and tell me a draw against montenegro is ok Wink

I think we just let them back into the game and should have the game won long before they scored!! We took out foot off the gas in the 2nd half for no apparent reason and I agree with Fernandez that was more likely the result that will put us into the playoff lottery even if we win our remaining games.

We should be beating any team out there if we're "contenders"

I'm afraid your maths have let you down. If England win their remaining matches they are mathematically certain to top the group.

If England don't qualify for the World Cup it will because they haven't won their home games. A draw in Montenegro is not great, but it's OK.

and OK is not good enough, didn't ukraine beat you at home aswell?... my point is you needed to win that game last night to make up for the loss at home, and a team like Montenegro should be no problem for the 4th best team in the world Wink

No. England are unbeaten in the group. The match against Ukraine was drawn 1-1.

oh ok, still not a decent result that and I think ukraine will be a very hard game away for you, it might come down to that now, I hope England go through but I just think they will blow it, luckily for me Brasil are hosting it so we already through Smile
