I guess great minds think alike, Dr Who was a must watch at one time but it started going downhill when David Tennant left the show ( although Matt Smiths first series was ok ). I haven't bothered with the last couple of series, they have become far too silly and Sherlock is going the same way.

Watched the finale last night. Complete self-indulgent, unrealistic, over the top claptrap.
I'm done with this rubbish. Some speculation about whether there will be another series, and apparently viewing figures are not favourable, but I for one couldn't give a monkeys, I have better things to do with my life than waste any more of it on this nonsense.
Such a shame that they took what started out as a good concept, reasonably well executed, and they turned it into a mockery, in such a short space of time.

There is a difference between entertainment and insulting the viewers intelligence, which this latest series clearly did.

It makes me very thankful for Elementary, that for me is a very good modern Sherlock...plus it has Lucy Liu
I think Jonny Lee Miller is a better Sherlock now too, the right mix of what the character should be.
