Regardless the players tend to have to do what the NFL tells them. Anyway the players are getting a Free phone. Sportsmen never turn down freebies even if it's not in their interest to accept.
The NFL would have to propose that when they negotiate the new CBA and the players would be advised by the Union to not accept , It would kinda be like if your parents gave you a phone on the condition that they would be able to see everything and I don't know about you but I sure as shit wouldn't agree to that .

How do you think Mackay and Moody were caught texting racist messages? If they did it on own phone would have got away with it. However they did it on their work mobiles. If they were not such cheap skates would probably still have their jobs at Cardiff.
You give NFL players mobiles with unlimited 4g access they would agree to almost everything.

Just have access to the players phone on a whim. There would have to be a valid reason. I don't see why other industry's have that implemented but the NFL can't. It's not as if they are demanding rights to wire tap their phones. As I said they are more than welcome to use their own personal phone for personal matters. If they have nothing to hide there is no problem.

I'm sure Goodall had no basis to accuse the patriots what so ever. Not as if they had previous. He is just a horrid little man with to much time on his hands
Bill Belichick is a great coach no doubts about that. His ability to produce world class teams with few stars is second to none. I saw a program which showed his method of working at Cleveland. He had future big name NFL coaches doing menial jobs for him and working their way up the ladder. People such as Nick Saban at Alabama university And Thomas Dimitrov Atlanta Gm And Ossie newsome who was gm for ravens when first won the super bowl are a just a few illustrious names who worked under him. Belichick seems to be the nfl's answer to Mourinho. Knows what he is doing but will do everything possible fair means or foul to achieve his objectives.

Other teams cheating have yet to be proven. As for the deflagate there are plenty of other people in the game (players and ex players) apart from Goodell who think Brady and Belichick knew what went on. I think for the patriots fans to target their ire at Just Goodell is a bit harsh.

The only thing proven was ' Spygate ' and the problem there wasn't that we were taping their signals it was we were taping them from the wrong place , If it had been done from the coaches box or elsewhere that was essentially fine . As for the ire towards Goodell it's because Tom Brady never stood a chance of getting a fair hearing from him as he had already made his mind up on how to punish him when their was very little to no evidence that Brady knew anything about it .
